Imagine being a construction worker doing normal construction work and your colleague comes to work with a print out of a website going "hey btw I just found out my music is a huge deal in South Africa but they all thought I was dead" and that's how you find out your colleague's two albums (that you might or might not have known about beforehand) are bigger than Elvis in a foreign country and your colleague gets to fly over there and play sold out concerts and then just returns to his job like nothing ever happened. That's what it must have been like working with Sixto Rodriguez.
