something strange stirs in vriska’s chest when she sees tavros at the other end of the room, and she has half the mind to turn abruptly and pretend she had never seen him at all. the other half remembers the companionable quirk of his lips, all the adventures they’d went on when the game was still fresh and new. how tavros had been a partner and a friend, a victim and a killer, the worst parts of her and –
she frowns. then, she smiles, lopsided and amiable. rudely edging her way through the group of other trolls she’d long given up on interrupting, she calls,
VRISKA: How are you enjoying the living?

What was a villain doing in the Golden Ward, you might ask? Well, the answer was whatever she pleased. Specifically, that was bursting into the apartment of her new friend, Tavros Nitram. Himiko came in as she pleased, not caring about how rude she might come off, or if anyone saw her entering through the window. She even hummed while she did so, poking her head about until she saw a familiar set of horns.
“Oh, hey!” Himiko smiled as she spoke so casually, as if she didn’t just break into his apartment. “Want to hang out?”
There was hardly room for Tavros to decline, given that she was already at his home. Yet, she still sounded so nice when she said it, who could say refuse her?

“You’re lucky I’m a one-of-a-kind genius, you know. Even Jade couldn’t have pulled this off!”
At the very least, Jade had been looking at him funny over all the time Saphir had been pouring into this Switch bootleg. His bedroom had become a work space with barely any floor space, and he had spent at least as much time swearing the lack of room in the apartment as he had spent trying to retrofit scavenged parts into a video game console.
“Of course, these are really just proofs of concept… Really, just the tip of the iceberg of what my brilliant mind has in store.” And he had no idea how to design a video game, even with Tavros explaining how they worked to him. But that was why Tavros was here today, to try the games and make sure they were actually games.
“But I’ve made so many improvements of my own already!” The villain of this Zelda game had originally been so ugly – Saphir had been all too happy to fix that, especially since he’d redone the protagonist as well (pink was a heroic color).
“So… what do you think? Don’t be afraid about not holding back your praise.”

“ have you ever used something like this before? “ gerwyn holds within one hand the provided gun; his fingers gripping it loosely as he looks around and off to the horizon. of course, he himself has had no experience wielding anything gun-like before, thus his reaction to using it even in this case is somewhat reluctantly. he hands his gun to tavros, the other part of the mighty duo -- team vegan.
“ perhaps... we should go to the housing areas to carry out this task... “ in truth he’d rather lie in the sun and do the opposite of this, but it isn’t as if tavros is entirely irritating, nor that he is someone unworthy of his company. he’s okay, as people go. “ ... how does this work again? “
Having had a nice drink and something to snack on, you set off for parts uncharted once more. You’ve found that the city of Spirale is actually rather pleasant, and that fact makes aimlessly walking around that much more fun. Of course, you do have basic knowledge of a few must-visit sites that you gathered from the locals. You’re not going to any of those places right now though, not on purpose anyway. It’s so much more fun to just see where your road takes you.
You now find yourself in the Cotes Ward, and you can’t help but marvel at the design of the place. The buildings blend well with the flora, and you can see a few animals roaming the area happily. You continue further in and stumble upon the Bamboo Grove, eventually ending up at a small, worn out shrine in the heart of the forest. A few foxes are loitering about, and you wonder about nature of this city. The trees are all the same color and the fauna are colorful. What kind of strange planet are you in? You whistle and find yourself musing your thoughts out loud.
ELWURD: whoa this pLace is funky ELWURD: they don’t have anything Like this back home

“So we didn’t see eye to eye, after all. Mostly because I was taller, but more of a metaphorical sense, too. After that, we had to split the group up and go on our merry way. Anyway, that really doesn’t explain how I got away with living in an Ikea for three months, but I’m getting to that...”

“ There’s definitely something underneath all this..! There just has to be..! “ It was almost like a gold mine. Potentially. After rummaging through some broken boards, he found a sign that, while cracked in a few places and splintered, could clearly say ‘LIBRARY’ on it meaning that the building before here might’ve been a library! And that meant books, and if some, even if there were less than a dozen, that were safe and sound, he wanted to find them for the sake of preserving their knowledge! While the rubble was heavy, his determination was almost as heavy! He clearly struggled with some of the rubble, trying to push it out of the way to find at least one undamaged page.
