         ”An unpopular opinion that I have…? Hmm… I’m pretty sure most people would disagree with me on this and by most people I mean adult, but school isn’t as important as they’re selling off and over-studying and over-working yourself only damages health. I’m pretty sure that in a few years from now my friends and I and everyone my age who graduated would throw around eighty precent of what they’ve studied away because it’s irrelevant for real life. Instead of chemistry and literature and math they should teach us kids how to behave like a decent human being. And there should be classes for how to be a proper parent who won’t harm their kids for life, or how to be nice to your neighbors, how to avoid drugs… stuff like that – there’s so much going around in this world and in our country and all people seem to care about is my grade in the math exam. Fucking bullshit. I’m glad I graduated…”

“Dabin, you never let me have nice things.” Siyeon was trying to enjoy the latest issue of SURE Magazine, which, while featuring Siyeon herself in a spread, also highlighted the natural beauty and appeal of Kim Hyuna. This was for research, obviously. One should always look to others to see what is so appealing about them, so that they can learn and grow. Siyeon was really hoping to grow. But researching in the meantime was enough for her.

“I mean you have me. Aren’t I a nice enough thing?” She grinned at her own cheesy teasing towards the other. Peering over the elder’s shoulder, she stared blankly at the page for a moment before her index finger came to point directly at Hyuna’s chest. “We’ve been on this page for awhile. When are you going to turn it?”

once in a blue moon iia can be found with a drink but she never lets herself get shit-faced. a buzz is justifiable, but not an i-can’t-feel-my-throat type of wasted. she hefts herself onto her belly and groans when she settles, an arch forming in her back. she steadies her cheek against her forearm and breathes, snickering disjointedly.

         - –   to say the air was tense might be the understatement of the month. they have had this kind of dynamic between them for who knows how long now; it doesn’t take a genius to see that there’s something beyond just friendship in the air that irene and siyeon shared. unfortunately for irene, it’s arguably a bit more unbearable since she experiences emotions and auras at a much higher level of intensity than humans do – and even regular vampires, for that matter. 

             perks of being half-vampire, she supposes. 

             when the younger of the two broke the silence, a chuckle leaves her lips. irene knows that a pair of extremely adorable eyes are boring into her side, and she merely shakes her head with a soft laugh. “ you and your appetite, i swear, ” she utters in false irritation. however, her pink tiers spread across her visage, exposing straight, marble-white ivories that contradict the tone of her voice. she gets up and  extends a hand towards the sitting female, not bothering to spare her a glance. heaven knows she would die if she even bothered to meet her eyes. “ c’mon, let’s get you fed. i don’t need a dead idol on my hands. wouldn’t look good on my resume, right? ”

Ah, the music is loud. Ears are ringing but the buzz is good. It has his adrenaline pumping and making the faces blur around him. Minjae wasn’t necessarily drunk, but he wanted to be. But what’s the fun in getting drunk alone? Plus it was just him and he was going to need to be stable enough, still in his body, to get himself home. Down to his second bottle of soju, he called for another, giving a smile and thankful nod to the bartender, but his expression faded hearing the unknown voice. It was a girl. A beautiful dark haired girl. Minjae’s eyes looking her up and down, lastly meeting her gaze. “Ah, only when I need to get my mind off of things. I should be asking you the same thing. What’s a girl like you doing in a place like this all by herself?” Toothy grin on cue. Only.. a bit more lazy and laughter bubbled out behind it.
