yeah, that makes sense. like how at children's place, they had that guardians of the galaxy tshirt without gamora on it because it was "a boy's shirt" as if boys can't be expected to handle supporting/liking a female hero simply because she is a different gender, and then they went on to talk about how they try to represent everyone.

although, i think what your coworker meant was that it could be sexist to classify all shoppers as female simply because of the stereotype that all women like to shop.

If hes not reliable (doesn't keep in contact, isnt communicative etc) then hes probably not in a place in his life right now to be pursued. If its causing you frustration, then i would leave it at least for now. Maybe the timing just isnt right at this point in time. Praying for you!

I’m definitely not pursuing him romantically yet, just trying to do friend things. I’m gonna try to get some sort of explanation and then maybe just leave it until winter break.
