Things I really want but also don’t bc my poor heart won’t be able to take it:

Ashi seeing how Flora and her sisters interact with each other

Ashi seeing how the Scotsman and his wife? interact with their children

Ashi seeing a loving family for the first time, a family that can kick ass but also fiercely loves and protects one another

A family that doesn’t constantly strive for perfection and punish even the smallest mistake

A family that wasn’t created just to kill

Ashi remembering her childhood and the few bright moments she had with her sisters

Ashi remembering all of the torture and abuse they endured at the hands of their own mother

Ashi mourning the family she could have had and the family she lost

Jack doing his best to comfort her; it’s awkward--one reason being Jack has never been (and Ashi has never had) a father figure

It’s awkward, but it’s good. And it only gets better with time

Each of them realizing that they’ve found a new family it’s little and broken but still good. yeah, still good
