he doesn’t know why it’s so easy for him to SENSE when something or someone isn’t quite human, but he’s not sure if she’s evil. instead of staring like some creep would, he decides to be direct with his uncertainty, “you’re not human, but you are also far from evil. tell me, what are you? and why do you walk among humanity?”
❝ look i am all for feminism and women’s right and not holding you accountable for a man’s actions but ---- just this once ---- can you please control him? ❞

“ Only the ones still sober enough to ask. ” She lifted her drink, smiling against the rim before she took another sip. It was strong, but not enough to make her lightheaded; she’d found very little in the universe to compare with Asgardian liquor. “ But it does depend on what they do ask. ”
“Don’t suppose they ever asked if you wanted to go back to their crappy old hotel room, hm?” Jim followed suit in taking a sip of his own drink, fingers clenched somewhat tightly around the glass and he glanced over the edge of it towards the bar, then glanced back to the girl. “What d’you say to that, huh?”

Red lips curled into a light smile. Wherever alcohol flowed, there was life. Trouble too, but life. On first glance, she didn’t match up with the former. Her hair was too perfectly curled, her clothes too soft under her leather jacket. “ I find the people in dive bars tend to be far more interesting. ”
It was like she was trying to be a biker or something. The rest of her clothing, her hairstyle, body language and voice didn’t match the jacket she was wearing. Nothing matched the place she was standing in. She looked more like a princess than someone belonged in a dive bar. ❝Mm. I’m sure that’s what you say to all the guys you meet.❞

“ Now is that any way to greet a stranger? ” Her voice is that of a mother, soft and playful with her scolding. Kneeling in front of the wolf, she conjured a banana, peeled it, and offered a broken off piece in an outstretched hand.
the wolf twitches her nose, watching the stranger approach curiously. not even slightly afraid or ... even curious, for that matter. the banana appears out of nowhere and the wolf sits up straight, tongue hanging out of her mouth. she watches the woman break it and she leans in closer, lips pulling back to show off her teeth as she leans in to take the small piece. she yips, excitedly, in thanks.
