Okay anyone else remembering the episode of Cornerstone where Rythian was killing enderminies and Sjin scolded him that they were just children, and Rythian responded in a dark voice, “I was a child”?

Okay anyone else remembering the episode of Cornerstone where Rythian was killing enderminies and Sjin scolded him that they were just children, and Rythian responded in a dark voice, “I was a child”?
I will be super disappointed if Sjin joins Flux Buddies for more than an episode or two to be consulted for advice.
He’s in so many other series, and I am super bored of him.
Plus there’s the er... let’s just say ‘fandom drama thing’. I don’t trust him.
I understand he’s their friend and they like playing with him, but...
Does he have to be in every damn series I might be interested in otherwise? So damn bored of Sjin.
---
The Flux Buddies modpack, as far as I know, has Project E in it. Imagine if they recruited Rythian onto their side?
I mean, for plot reasons they wouldn’t want him in the armor. 100% damage reduction is way too OP. But just... His magic with their magic and science blend. He’d be annoyed with it, but he’s mellowed out in his anti-science hatred after Blackrock, and Lalnable is clearly a threat and damn but I want Lalnable to be being controlled by Yoglabs so that would give Rythian extra incentive because super evil science lab vs “well I used to hate Duncan but he’s not trying to nuke the world any more so he’s less evil than the other side”.
---
I really, really hope that Sjin isn’t going to be a long-term addition to Flux Buddies.
I picked the doors because the color was right. But... They were mahogany. So when I pointed this out to Mary Duncan, there was only one real way they could respond.
Something Mary said on Skype has me thinking. It would be nice to see some Blackrock reconciliation fics with Rythian Duncan and Sjin. Not like, they suddenly realize they all want to bone more than fight, orgies forever (don't stop writing those though, plox?). Actual sitting down, talking, and agreeing that they don't want to fight any more. That they want to be friends (with benefits? #rabid shipper) again. And it's not easy at first. They don't trust each other. They're jumpy and prone to misjudgements of what the others are thinking or doing. But slowly they rebuild their relationships. That would be lovely.
Thoughts on the Sjin thing?
Well, I definitely believe the victims’ accounts. I really wish Sjin would apologize, as at least one of the people involved is saying is the only thing she wants out of him.
At the least, I wish he’d acknowledge the issue. He’s not even denying it, he’s just ignoring it.
I unsubbed from Sjin’s channel a while ago, and while again, I still like the character in fiction and art, I don’t really like Sjin himself any more, and I’ve stopped watching Sjin-centered content.
I’m starting to tag for Ridgedog and Sjin when I reblog things involving them, because I can understand other people’s desire to avoid any reminder of what they’ve done.
While I’m on the subject, another Yog I unsubbed from and don’t watch their content any more: Parv. Because while I don’t have much issue about referring to testificates as hermaphroditic, even using problematic terminology like them having “both parts”, I am super uncomfortable with anyone who’d respond with “I’m so glad we’re killing these things”. (Problematic Yogscast link)
"The idea of people with bodies that have both male and female aspects is gross and killing them is good!"…No. No thank you, goodbye.
Sjin is a trans man, and when he started on T and saw his first moustache hairs he was so incredibly giddy. He had to go around and show all of his friends how amazing his new facial hair was.
sjin's eyes are as gray as the steel of his sword, and his eyes are as sharp as the blade
everyone knows this, although no one knows how the rumor got started when no one crosses their king and lives to talk about it
regardless of how the rumor got started, sjin will happily tell you it's true. he'll also tell you it's far from the only reason you should fear him
sjin himself doesn't quite understand what's so frightening about this concept. not until he encounters it himself, when he sees blue eyes reflected in a diamond sword and cold determination in both of them
because xephos is not a king to be trifled with either
