I kind of think that Anthy would only bottom in two kinds of situations: if she doesn’t trust her partner at all, or if she trusts them completely.

Because as we see she is so used to being objectfied, disregarded and abused that I think she just defaulted that every person just sees her as something to use for their own goals and abandon, and that extends to sex. So with someone she doesn’t know if she can trust or not, defaulting back to passivity is safe, comfortable. (I’m thinking here as an example outside of Akio her with Kozue on the car in the last duel against Miki)

But like, with someone she trusts I think there would be safety to experiment more and try to place herself in a more active role, take control of the exchange without fearing for herself or her partner, as we see with Utena in the movie.

And in this context I think bottoming would be kind of an ultimate sign of trust from her in a sexually active relationship, like, a “I trust you to not hurt me this time” kind of deal.

I’ve come to loathe Fandom more and more ever since they acquired ScreenJunkies. The way they absolutely neutered that channel is just... devastating?

I’m a big ScreenJunkies fan. I used to watch every single video of theirs. Sure, like most people, I got into them through their Honest Trailers. But then I just... grew attached to these nerds?

Even when they spent half an hour talking about some obscure 80s thing I have never heard of in my life, I’d love to listen to them talk. Because it was just genuine passion there.

But their content has been so streamlined since Fandom took over.

There’s still the Honest Trailers and the Commentaries. But other than that? It’s just... movie reviews, show reviews (but honestly only Marvel-related shows?) and interviews with casts of movies/shows. At least 80% of their content is now directly related to Marvel/Star Wars. Which kind of sucks when you don’t like Marvel and Star Wars.

But it sucks even more when you’ve been a fan for years and know they used to have so much broader content, so much more random content and so much more content that was created out of love from the individuals behind it, instead of feeling like being force-fed by the Mouse.

All of their more random or more wild video series have been canned in favor of things that cater to the hugest franchise stuff and mainstream pop-culture.

And the way nearly everyone from the original team has left at this point isn’t helping it any either. And I really can’t help but blame Fandom, directly, for that.
