Skylight Records’ newest solo artist, Luxe, has officially concluded his debut promotions for Flower. His series of goodbye stages started with M Countdown on Thursday, Music Bank, Music Core, Inkigayo, and lastly on Show Champion. Fans were sad to see the idol end his promotions so soon, but Luxe assured everyone via his Twitter that he would be back soon with new and surprising content. Label mate Yoda, who produced and was featured on the song was also present for all the performances during the promotions.

Luxe has flown overseas for schedules and a magazine shoot in Hawaii and will be returning to Seoul on January 26th.

Yoda Takes Home Multiple Awards at the Golden Disk Awards!

At the Golden Disk Awards last night, Yoda surprised fans by showing up completely healed! Since the car accident, the soloist had been laying low and had only made one other public appearance before the awards show. He was walking steady and on his own, enjoying time with his fellow idol friends and interacting with JEDI’s. He seemed happy to just be there, all smiles and laughter. 

Yoda ended up going home that night with a few awards including Best Producer, Digital Single Bonsang for Flamethrower featuring American artist Selena Gomez, and Best Popular Artist by Netizen. He went on each time to thank his fans for their undying support for him and his music. “My fans are everything to me and they’ve been my support for the last six years. Soloist Yoda Falls to Knees at SBS Gayo Daejun Red Carpet

Surprising fans by showing up to the red carpet for Gayo Daejun clearly wasn’t enough for the soloist as he makes a shocking appearance to the musical event without his boot or crutches. Though clearly in a little bit of discomfort because of the lack of physical support he made it down the carpet with label mate Shon “Luxe” Kihyun right at his heels the entire time to make sure he didn’t hurt himself. Though he did trip and wince a few times because of his still healing injuries he was met with roaring cheers and support from his fans. 

It was obvious that Yoda was moved as he fell to his knees in a full bow directed towards his fans with his fingers into the shapes of small hearts, shoulders trembling as well. His fans repeatedly told him to get up and that they didn’t need to be thanked but Yoda clearly wasn’t having it, staying down there for a few long moments before he struggled to get to his feet, even with Luxe’s help. 

When asked about it later, Yoda had this to say: “My fans are everything to me and they helped me get through the loss of my mother. They’re the reason I came out here today and they needed to be thanked for that and, though I can’t do a lot because my body is still healing, I will continue to work hard tonight. Please look forward to more of my own music in the future as well as Luxe’s. There is a lot coming from the both of us.”

Yoda then went on to perform an acoustic version of “Rise” off of his most recent album Vagabond alongside soon to be soloist Luxe, revealing him as the mystery singer from his album.

Skylight Records Officially Announces Luxe’s Debut as a Solo Artist.

It has been revealed that Luxe will be debuting as a solo artist on January 4th!

Ever since Luxe announced that he was leaving YouTube earlier this month, the idol has been working diligently to finish up production for his solo and shooting his music video.

Many of his fans were wondering when they’d see him next, but that wait will be over soon! There was both positive and negative feedback on the idol’s choice to leave YouTube to become a singer. Many of his fans were wondering how he would pull off a different persona than the one he previously showcased on his YouTube channel.

Prior to revealing that he was a trainee, Luxe had not showcased his talents until he was featured as the unknown artist on Yoda’s song Rise. Fans were given more of his vocal talents on Skylight System’s Unfair and Christmas Song. 

Skylight will be releasing things accordingly for the next week and a half. Please anticipate Luxe’s debut!

SkyRec Trainee Isabella Lee involved in a car accident.

Skylight trainee Isabella Lee was involved in a car accident in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve while heading to the airport.

It was reported that Isabella had hit a patch of black ice, which resulted in her losing control of her vehicle and spinning out into on coming traffic. Her vehicle was hit on the passenger side door by an intoxicated driver who had ran the red light that turned when her car spun into traffic.

The driver of the other car left the accident unscathed but the young trainee was rushed off to Asan Medical Center. 

Her condition is unknown and we have yet to hear a statement from Skylight.

SOLOIST YODA INVOLVED IN FATAL CAR CRASH

It has been revealed that beloved soloist Yoda, previously under TQ Entertainment and now signed under CJE&M label Skylight Records, has been involved in a fatal drunk driving accident. According to witnesses of the accident, Yoda was pulling across an intersection when a drunk driver ran a red light and plowed into the passengers side of his new Mercedes G63SUV, a gift to himself after his six year anniversary. Reports say that the car flipped a few times before eventually landing on the drivers side, both Yoda and the passenger trapped in the vehicle. 

It was later revealed that the passenger was Yoda’s mother, Cho Sunhwa, a patient at a local psychiatric hospital with an unknown condition. Paramedics found Sunhwa dead on top of Yoda, having protected his body from most of the blow. She apparently died on impact while he was taken to the hospital to be treated for multiple wounds. 

UPDATE: Yoda is conscious and has suffered a dislocated shoulder on his left side, a concussion, broken collar bone, and a crack femur on his right leg. He is reportedly going to make a full recovery. He is currently staying at a private wing at Gangnam Yonsei Sarang Hospital.
