Luxe Confirms His Summer Comeback + Upcoming Projects at Busan Fanmeet!

Skylight Records’ newest artist Luxe will definitely be making a comeback this summer with a different sound!

At his Busan fanmeet on April 2nd, Luxe confirmed rumors of his comeback and even teased his fans with lyrics to a song on his album. The soloist also confirmed that his comeback will be a totally different concept from what he had when he debuted.

“As an artist who is heavily partakes in the formation of my albums, I wanted to try a different concept and show my fans that I am capable of expanding myself as an artist.” Luxe stated during the Q&A segment of his fanmeet.

Despite the positive feedback from his fanbase, there were netizens who also voiced their concern over the artist’s sudden change of concepts so quickly. Many expressed that it was a risky move, as he is still a rookie. However, many other netizens stated that it was a brave move and made them admire him as an artist. 

Aside from confirming his comeback, Luxe also confirmed that he would be working with a series of other artists throughout the rest of the year. 

He also spoke more about his subunit debut with labelmate and long time best friend @90yoda​, which the two had announced at their fanmeet in Tokyo a week prior.

“Both Yoda and I have poured a lot of time and effort into preparing for this album! We hope that our fans can come together to enjoy the music we create together. It’ll be something different that you probably aren’t use to seeing from us.” The idol stated before quickly moving on to the next questions, leaving fans both ecstatic and confused.

Luxe concluded his Q&A segment with an acoustic cover of Flower, even rapping Yoda’s part in the song. 

Fans who attended were all given posters and stickers during the fansign portion.

Yoda releases Skylight System track alongside Coldplay

After a long professional hiatus, soloist Yoda is finally releasing new music through Skylight Records! It seems that, after expression his strong love for Coldplay through social media and interviews, he has finally gotten the chance to work with them on a song. Having had a huge hand in the writing, composition, and production of the song Chris Martin of Coldplay sings about love not being perfect and that isn’t what anyone is looking for anyways.  The music video features soloist Luxe as the male lead as he attempts to swoon a nameless girl.

Due to Vixen’s car crash in 2015, the group had been on hiatus and it was unsure of when the girls would be returning to the music scene. Earlier this month, Elise, the leader of her group, had made a comeback to the public eye and fans wondered when they’d see the rest of the girls.
