As infiltration, Jesse has been stationed in both Russia and America. His main functions were gathering intelligence and the execution of certain political figures. In America he’d root out Russian spies, both human and android.
In Russia, he’d hit android warehouses or information depots while avoiding detection so Russia couldn’t accuse the US of instigating aggression. While his unit was back in America to relay information on Russian androids to Cyberlife, Markus’ revolution took place. His superiors expressed their concerns, and after some discussion, the issue was resolved by Jesse and his comrades getting scheduled for recycling. Forced to line up with the rest of the trash Cyberlife was going to throw out, Jesse watched his friends get destroyed one by one, along with hundreds of other androids who had done nothing wrong. For the first time in his life, emotions began to boil within him: Fear. Anger. Betrayal. Despite all he had done for his country, it had turned its back on him. Shocked into deviancy by this realization, Jesse broke from the recycling line up and crept out of Cyberlife, utilizing his stealth capabilities to leave without a fight, but leaving several bodies in his wake.
