My thoughts exactly. Every time they got close to talking about what happened to Root, if felt like that topic got the brush off. Down to the cochlear implant thing. That whole exchange was so throwaway & "oops!" that it made it super suspect lol....

RIGHT?! Out of all the deaths on this show, Root’s is the most suspect (also Carter’s). Look, I know that they were in the middle of a war but it’s odd that Root’s ‘death’ was brushed off. Like yes, we saw a body, same as Fusco, but that was an odd sight. Plus, bodies could be very realistically faked and/or given the right drug, death can be faked (as seen with Shaw in Relevance).

So yeah she ‘died’ and then got buried in potter’s field, right? And sometime between after being buried and to when Shaw visited her grave, Samaritan supposedly dug up Root’s body and got to her cochlear implant. Okay, if Samaritan was able to find the exact grave she was supposedly buried in, why couldn’t it have found and get to the hospital she was sent too before hand??

I Hate Having OCD

Everything sets off something. Nothing is insignificant. All the bad shit WILL happen. Intrusive thoughts are relentless. Pointless, often irrational compulsions are carried out in the sake of distracting your own brain from obsessing over the worst possible scenarios all day, everyday. This is bullshit.
