I like to think Polyground + Sling are dating but they don't realize that they're all together. Like

Monogamy isn't the norm in the inpherno, so whenever you get into a relationship it's normal to just assume it's open. Your partner PROBABLY has other partners you don't fully know about, but it's not like cheating, nobody cares about it

Skate and Boom are dating first. Skate starts dating Coil, but Boombox thinks they're just friends. Then Coil gets with Boombox as well, and none of them realize they're all dating each other

Then we throw Slingshot in here. He knows Boom first and they have a meet-cute cafe AU type thing going on. Sling also knows Coil but thinks he's annoying as fuck and doesn't realize Boom and Coil are dating

Sling meets Skate through Boombox and Coil and thinks the three of them are friends. He starts dating Boombox first, but as Skate and Coil keep visiting the cafe on their own, he begins to separately fall for them as well, and will eventually end up partnering up with them too

This all comes to a head when Skateboard decides to have a sleepover and introduce his three Awesome partners to each other, only for them to realize they're all dating, and then uhhhh they all cuddle. Yeah :]
