Hello! I've signed up for private figure skating lessons, and I was wondering what kind of clothes I'd need to wear? I've skated before, but only ever for fun, so I usually wore jeans haha.

I wear long gym leggings or workout pants and a comfortable shirt (sometimes gym shirts/yoga tops or pants/tank tops) basically you want warm, comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict any movement and also layers because as you do the lesson you’ll get warmed up. Padding and under armour are also great if you want to invest in some!

it's one of the cutest things imo when a guy teaches a girl how to skate or vice versa. skating is something everyone can enjoy, everyone is bad when they start out and they have a lack of balance, but you will improve with the more time and effort you put into it and you will get there.

Kind of an odd question, but next week it's gonna be 30°C and I'm not good with high temperatures so is it possible to skate in shorts without getting ice burns all over my legs when falling? Basically, what do I wear to training when it's hot outside?

I’m going to assume you skate at an outdoor rink. If you’re worried about ice burn from falls, wear a pair of thin leggings or a skirt or exercise shorts with tights.
