The Northern Lingua Franca

In Y'mang, there is a sort of simple pidgin/common language that is defaulted to when two or more speakers/listeners don't share a language. This is called Skausa (Endonym: Sk'ausiya).

Skausa is purely used as a common language and not as a first language. It's agglutinative, primarily OSV word order, and pronoun dropping is common.

I’m not dead, but I got swallowed by Conworkshop and spent most of my conlang development on there for the past half a year. So here’s a ramble in my conlang Skausa (Syķausa /sʊǃaʊsɐ/).

Aļyv kau kisyk ilhegysaci da ìć ić naky ić irhenky. Ać dhaćy Foķulha, ić nuim. En ilhegys cái, ić erhilhe. Ne, dhelhy Na váļehu ić naky en ilhegysaci da ìć kau. Alhyćy… horhysys ić hòq naky. Ić hòq rhala…
