Why are all my meds gigantic??

before bed, I took the same medicine that made me incredibly tired when I took it this afternoon before class, and now I’ve been laying in bed for 2-3 hours and still haven’t fallen asleep.

I was on my way to work Saturday when some dipshit in a silver car without lights on in the rain hydroplaned into my lane. I was fortunate enough to swerve into a ditch fucking up my undercarriage and killing most of the volts in my cars battery. The impact of this made me dislocate my elbow which I popped back into place (that bitch fucking hurt) on scene. The medics made me get checked out where they basically just looked at me and wrote a script for 600mg Ibuprofen (I have standing script for 800mgs for basic pain) So I go to my doctor today who is usually very good to me and she prescribes me 40 Hydrocodone 5/325s and 90 Skelaxin 800mg and to go get some xrays that won't even come back for a couple of days. What they do know though is I have AT LEAST four torn muscles and a fractured wrist. To those who don't know what that means; it's pretty much like putting a band-aid on gash that needs more than a handful of stitches. I am so pissed off I can barely see straight. I have work tomorrow and my doctor is very strongly advising me to not go back until the 8th. That means no income. You have got to be fucking kidding me.
