what id like 2 know is what's ur fav part of ur ship / ship dynamic so far ♡ if u had to pick ofc 🙂‍↕️

i'm assuming this is referring to skelcoil? in that casee... the thing i love most about them is their contrast! everything from their color palettes to their aesthetics to the way they act & speak is intentionally very distinct from each other. imo, one of the most notable ways this manifests is in their respective gender presentations. skel is openly trans & heavily gnc, while coil is stealth/closeted & relies on his masculinity to protect himself. it's through skel that coil grows less ashamed of his transness and unlearns his instinct to hide such an intrinsic part of his identity. it's all about their differences & learning to love yourself in the eyes of another babyyy

i've been thinking some about studfemme coilskel lately. the main difference between them and canon skelcoil is that this coil is not fucking around & playing the same way trans man coil is. stud coil is getting his girl and he is getting him with haste

skelcoil is just guy who thinks he’s a master at gay chicken x guy who’s so openly & genuinely affectionate towards him that he just looks like an idiot & an asshole the whole time

coil really loved demeaningly calling skel “sweetheart” and “doll” and “pretty boy” before they started dating, including before he even realized his feelings for them. guy who lowers his voice to a purr & asks his friend of a friend if they’ll kiss his booboos too or if they charge extra for that, but like. heterosexually

thinking about skelcoil again. bear with me.

so them both being trans is like, a key part of their relationship right. especially when it comes to how open coil is about it vs skel. skel is very open about it, while coil is hiding it with everything he has, something he's probably been doing since he was a teen. because of that—and similar to all the other more vulnerable things about him—it's immensely difficult for coil to even allude to. due to all this, i have a feeling that, despite how physically close skel's caretaking brings them, coil held off on telling them he was trans until the first time they had sex. he didn't even properly tell them, actually. coil doesn't nearly realize how intimate it all is until it's too late and his pants are off and skel's first words are of praise and awe instead of disgust.

coil being used to being seen as annoying/a nuisance & being so genuinely shocked by how much skel loves him despite his performative high ego and unintentionally pushing him away so many times 🚬🚬🚬🚬🚬🚬 Whatever i don't even care about them
