please, please do you have a gif of the beauty underneath skeleton butler from the LND stream last night?
I do noooow
the best part of the skeleton was when everything was just DEAD SILENT when she showed up and then the audience laughing like theyre losing their sanity
hahaha just like us
The only, and I mean ONLY, saving grace of the skeleton butler is that its little cart is not piled high with Pier 1 pillows and used to wheel Erik and Christine on a dreamlike radio-controlled tour of Phantasma. That and it led to the tag "#erik and his unholy barcart" from MadamFaust which has me laughing so hard I am crying! Aldebaran
@madamefaust has the best tags and this is an indisputable fact
Apothecary Apology
It was about noon. I made my way downtown, walking relatively quickly, some ponies were giving me odd looks. It was most likely due to the unicorn skeleton shambling behind me.
I felt terrible for everything a certain apothecary went through. I felt that a few of the incidents were somehow my fault. So, as an apology, I decided to deliver to him, and his snake, a box of a rare potion ingredient; dried bat pony wings. I spent all night foraging for these.
A couple of nights ago, my skeleton butler and I went out into the forest to search for my planned apology gift, or as I like to refer to it, the bribe. Most ponies find the dark forest rather creepy, feeling as if there’s somepony behind them and that they’re being watched. The only creepy feeling I had was from looking at the orb of unholy life floating around in its skull, drifting from one eye socket to another. Being alone out there, in the cold forest, I decided to try talking to the shambling skeleton. All it did was rattle.
But then I saw it, a shape in the trees, the blood red eyes that glowed in the night, and the sound of chirping and squeaking. I scurried into a nearby bush, escaping the sight of the grey bat pony. I heard the sound of slurping, I believe it was feasting upon a recent victim. I eyed the creature from afar, looking for a weakness I could exploit. From my tail, I produced a crossbow, loaded and ready, and pointed it at the beast. But suddenly, she coyly asked if she could help me. I was shocked, how did she know I was there? And then I realized it. Beside me was my skeleton butler, its glowing eye; a beacon, and it was just standing there, an obvious white statue. I told the bat pony that I needed her wings, preferably dried. She flew down to me and seemed a bit surprised that I was smaller than her. In her little hooves was a juice box, and in that moment, I knew I couldn’t take her wings and dry them. So as an apology, I gave her my crossbow and went on my way, perhaps I can find a bat pony elsewhere.
I was explaining to the skeletal unicorn as to why I couldn’t just take the wings off the cute bat pony when I realized I was lost. I was surrounded by a thick fog, I couldn’t see any trees or the horizon. I wandered, worried and somewhat afraid, until I bumped into heavy wooden doors. In front of me was a castle, ancient and enduring. I moved to knock on the doors, just to see if anyone was home, when they slowly creaked open, an endless abyss inside. Wandering inside, I was greeted by three mysterious ponies standing atop a grand staircase, introducing themselves as the Bellemares. There was something otherworldly about them. I don’t know if it was the crimson glint in their eyes, the ethereal air they carry, or the fact their shadows seemed to dance behind them. Or maybe it was my imagination. One of the ponies, who was pale white and wore a black choker with red stone, told me that they were just getting ready for dinner and asked if I wanted to join. When I inquired what they were having to dinner, she said that they going to have me for dinner. Now although they were laughing, I didn’t know if they meant they were having me join them for dinner, or if I was their dinner. All I knew was, I’m scared, I’m surrounded by strange ponies, and I’m in a big old castle. But while the younger Bellemare laughed, I spotted two pointed fangs. Nope. I’m out. I used a smoke potion I had in my tail. With a poof of green smoke, I escaped into the forest.
My last encounter of the night was back in town. Tired, miserable, and looking for a warm place to sleep, I went to the home of a popular seamstress, hoping that she could make me a blanket or something. Greeting me at the door was a purple-grey bat pony with light brown eyes. She invited me inside, seemingly excited to have me, and disappeared inside her humble dwelling. I followed her, and a twisted idea, an evil idea, a murderous idea came to mind. It was too easy, her attention was on her work, surrounded by fabrics and unfinished projects. On her worktable, I spied a pair of sharp shears, glimmering in the warm light. All I had to do was pick them up.
When I arrived at Twisted Tonic’s wagon, I found that he wasn’t home. So I ordered my undead servant to remain there with the box until he returned. I can’t wait for him to open it up. He’ll love the raccoon plush the seamstress made, it looks just like me!

Building a Fort
I spent hours rummaging through the trash, digging out hundreds of empty cans of Unicorn Energy. In my paw was a rolled up piece of paper, scrawled on it was a crude blueprint for my tin can castle.
A shambling skeleton stumbled past me, carrying more discarded containers. My grand plans were coming together, soon I will have a home worthy of praise and envy. Or at least one that actually shelters me from the elements. I wondered aloud about a certain grey dragon and his addiction to the sparkling energy drink. The unicorn skeleton clattered and clicked, awaiting further orders.
I unrolled my blueprints, ready to get my skeleton servant working on building the foundation. But I soon learned that it was too dark, I couldn’t see the faint ink marks in the night, even with my raccoon night vision. Suddenly, there was a flash of blue light, I instinctively thanked someone for the light, but quickly realized that there wasn’t anyone with a light. Certainly not my skeleton butler. He, or maybe she, was too dead to be intelligent. I turned to see a brilliant pillar of ethereal blue light swirling into the sky, way out in the distance.
What an interesting sight.

Dead Maine
It was a dark and stormy night. A shadow skulked in the darkness between the twisted trees. A cold wind blew through the night air and biting rain fell upon the ground. With a loud splash, the shadow trampled through frigid puddles and piles of dead leaves.
There I was, cold and miserable, only barely sheltered by a heavy shroud. My fur was heavy and wet. I stumbled upon a stone slab, a name etched upon its weathered grey face. From within the shroud I produce a translucent blue gemstone, an inky blackness within.
I began to whisper to the stone in a forbidden language, incantations for an arcane spell. My words echoed through the air and earth. Black tendrils wiggled and writhed, emerging from the shadows of the around me. The ground shook, the clouds above came alive with lightning, and without warning, everything stopped. In an instant, the shadowy tendrils shot into the ground in front of the headstone and world returned to normal.
I felt something beneath the dirt, something coming up, something escaping. A white hoof emerged, followed by a skeletal leg, and then the upper torso of the skeleton. It was a unicorn, its horn broken in half, an unholy crimson light glowed in the skull, passing from one eye to the other.
There was a reason to this madness. I needed somepony to clean my cardboard box house. After I instructed my skeletal assistant, a voice behind commented that what I was doing wasn’t nice. I turned to see a pale white bat pony with blood red eyes sitting atop a dead oak tree. Without another word, she unfolded her bat-like wings and flew away, followed by a swarm of screeching bats.
She seemed nice.
