Fakie Clothes

I bought this fakie Apple White Getting Fairest dress and robe from Ebay for a $1.21 including shipping. The quality is obviously lower than the real thing. All the thread is white, even though it should be red. The sewing is poorly done. The velcro doesn't match. The lace is cheap. However, it still fits well and looks cute in my opinion. The jacket is actually sewn with skill. It has white thread but you don't even notice. The ruffle is sewn on nicely and it fits well. The jacket is much better quality than the dress, probably not even made by the same person. Anyway the verdict in my opinion is worth the price! It's cute but also a gamble on quality. I hope to use the dress as a basic pattern for sewing. I have some other fakie things slowly making their way from China to Michigan that I'm eagerly waiting on.
