Captain Whisper
He’s Lyra Dane’s Captain
He commands the 235th, and their legion is known as “Tiptoe Legion” because their Captain and General are both notoriously quiet. The whole battalion has kind of adopted that trait (Lyra is deaf and Whisper is mute).
Whisper communicates primarily through Handspeak (The Star Wars version of Sign Language) Most of the battalion can communicate via Handspeak as well.
He can read lips.
Whisper CAN speak, but it causes him pain, so he doesn’t do it unless absolutely necessary.
As a cadet, he was in an accident that left him with severe burns all over his body, most of which are centralized around his face/chest/arms. It’s particularly bad over his mouth and lips. He has pale burn marks all over his skin.
As of the current progress in the Harpstar stories, all of Whisper’s Batch brothers are still alive.
His batch brothers are Lieutenants in Tiptoe Legion, they are: Bird, Canvas, Omen, and Blaze. They are all amazing and wonderful and I can make lots of long separate posts about each of them as well.
There was a leak in the growth tank for him and his batch brothers, so all of them have unnatural white hair and clear grey eyes.
On Kamino they were nicknamed Skeleton Squad because they’re all kind of creepy looking tbh.
Whisper keeps his hair regulation short, his noticeable features are of course the burns, the white hair, and weirdly clear grey eyes.
The Tiptoe Colors are blue (To match Lyra’s Chiss skin) with some higher ranking officers having red highlights (For her eyes)
Even though Whisper is quiet he’s an absolute animal in battle.
But Whisper is a very kind and gentle soul. He takes good care of his men, and looks out for Lyra.
He’s in love with her
I wanted to do something really silly with skelesonas and since @miyako47 really love my imps I had to do this. Decaf tried to smug out a bunch of these squeaky fellas, but El was too curious and she got busted XP
