This page will be against the back cover of my comic series. It will reveal the next front cover of which ever next issue will appear. After issue 1, the front cover of issue 2 will appear on here. I have been working on this page for days of sketch-app, because I wanted to make my fans excited to see what will be coming next.

I have been working on a new pose for Julie Character for my art book. Based on my latest feedback from a student, I have made some corrections to her design. I have heightened the neck collar of her shirt. Although, I haven’t added sleeves to her shirt, because I thought she would look better without them on.

For a week, I have been working on the character design of Fracture. I have been building a page on my art book showing how I have made my characters by going through a step by step process showing the ruff structure, the outlines, and then the finished image. I have already put this character into my art book now.

Redesigns

Based on Jodie and Mario’s feedback during our show and tell chat, I have been changing the design of my 2 characters and made them better. I have made Lucas into a dork as I have told Mario. And for Julie, I thought I should give her a T-shirt so that she would look better. I remember Jodie suggesting to me to make her wear a T-shirt so that her chest will be covered up. Now, I have struggling to decide if I should replace my current Julie and Lucas character designs from my CV with the new redesign I have done.

I have fixed the character design of Julie Carter. Her head had been too small in proportion of her body, so I had regrown it and gave her a little change to her design. I had thickened her her style to match with the design I had thought of.

By using the existing Dasher character, I created Lucas Wilson on my sketch-app. I did this by tracing over the dasher design and constructed some new clothing to put over the character to represent a normal looking citizen who is hiding his superhero alter-ego.

I have made multiple suit Designs for Dasher. I wanted to experiment with the characters suit so I can prove that I had other ideas for my Graphic novel. I thought that they would be useful to put into my art book before it gets finished.

I have also made a stealth suit and a hazmat suit design for him. I wanted to expand on my creativity, to show that Dasher can were a suit that have different purposes.

For the stealth suit, I chose black and grey to match in the darkness so Dasher can super speed around without getting spotted. And for the hazmat suit, I chose green because I wanted to be creative and think about the colours I never thought to use on Dasher.

I have once again been experimenting character designs for my characters. This is the design of Julie Carter in her new form. However, I am not really impressed with the size of her head, or her head design. I had been hoping for it to turn out great. I do like the shading I have applied onto her body.

I have continued to use sketch-app to draw the whole body, over the design of a similar character who I was tracing over.
