All the AHIT fanart you reblogged and made convinced me to finally get the game! Tho I wanna say... I feel kinda betrayed by the game for making me fight the Conductor after working so hard to make him win the award, especially because your posts made him one of my favs. :c Anyway! Who did YOU fight at the end of that chapter? The Conductor or DJ Grooves?

as discussed in several of my posts, I really think they should’ve stuck with the original plan to have it only be possible for DJ Grooves to win- having the other option breaks the emotional journey for both him and the Conductor, and I know a lot of people just like you fought really hard to help the Conductor win the award because he’s adorable and his movies/game levels are so much stronger as films! as it happens I haven’t played the game, because my hands are too weak to, but I watched a playthrough that (luckily) took the DJ Grooves winner route first so I had the best narrative experience. It was completely by chance that I did but I’m very glad it happened!

So, I just saw this post with photos of some pages in the new Fullmetal editions of the manga, and on one of the pages it says that there are only 50 souls per homunculus: ruinsofxerxes. tumblr. com/post/187016262892/ Do you know of any other sources talking about the number of souls? Because that number from the concept art doesn't really seem to add up with the vast number of souls we later see are inside of Greed (ep28/ch55) and Pride (ep61/ch106)

Not that I know of.

Do keep in mind that this is a translation of early concept art- Note how that same description says that there are five more homunculi “planned”, not “there are five other homunculi”, because at the time the homunculi as a collective were not solidified in their characters. So, just because it says exactly 50 souls in the concept art doesn’t necessarily mean that concept stuck around for the final cut!
