Art Progress: 10 May (cont.)
Following on from my progress drawing the human figure yesterday, I decided to try another sketch of a character in my long-abandoned story:
In terms of capturing the shadow and proportions accurately, this was above my skill level. Still, I know what to improve on subsequent attempts:
The shading of the lower part of her right-hand side is unrealistic, so I have to improve that. I filled in the hairline through my own imagination, because otherwise she would look bald.
Furthermore, I need more practice with eyes, lips, and noses.
Still, have to begin somewhere! Feedback on improving my faces would be appreciated.
