another throwback art dump, these are probably the raddest of my old artings from around my time at college, 2011-2014. I was starting to calm down and make the weird subject matter make sense (in comparison to when it made even less sense) and also trying to improve my own style by entering contests (easter bunnies, image 4), re-drawing my old artwork (clown, image 7) and seeing other artists online doing the things I wanted to (reference to @heathermahler on the plant’s shirt, image 9). I feel like this was the peak of me finding my style. I was able to make subtle references to the things I like while not letting my weird jokes ruin it, and I was actually drawing figures and characters nicely and accurately.
