The fact that I don't see it on my dash tells me that some of you are possibly UNAWARE that our own @sketchshark made a Netflix series and if you like all her weird inventive merpeople, harpies and centaurs there are plenty in this but it is also legit one of the most enjoyable fantasy narratives I’ve seen in years. Some people are put off by the zany hijinks side of it but I think it just makes the darker moments hit even harder; when we finally see the true villain of the setting it’s a design and concept that could have fit into Bloodborne, and if it had been in Bloodborne, it would have made my list of favorite bosses. The ten episode series (or hopefully just first season?) is also one long adventure that starts right away, instead of the slow build a lot of modern cartoons opt for. It’s also a musical with several songs per episode and all of them are good. Fantastic actually, the songs in this make most Disney songs sound flat and joyless in comparison.
