[REVIEW] 17반 - Selected Number Mixtape

Good evening kitties ! I am quite into a rap-hardcore-mood lately, thus, I’ve chosen to review a duo who has nothing related to hardcore rap music hahaha yes I’m a girl… A girl changes her mind every 2 minutes ^^

    Today, let’s get closer to general audience’s mixtapes. Please, welcome Skezi and Min Yoo-Il, two artists keen on K-hiphop, K-R’n’B/pop! And moreover, super cute… musically speaking (you perverts hahaha I see what you did there!).

    So, we were talking about 17반… who should have more recognition for the style they have chosen concerning this mixtape. The flow is fast and at a regular pace on badass sounds. The voice is overly adapted to sweet sounds (even if I prefer their rap).

Beware! It has nothing to do with rehashed music. Both Skezi and Min Yoo Il have their own personality. The two first tracks should help you understand it, as they bring you some appetizers.

    Made in a fresh spirit, this mixtape is meant for a large audience who is used to switch between K-hiphop, K-pop and US music in their mp3 player. Concerning the instrumentals, the choice can be surprising at first, but if you look closer, it’s quite coherent indeed. You will hear some Outkast, Ying Yang Twins, David Guetta (hahaha French Pride yeaaaaaah) or 레트루아 (les Trois (the Three)). Even if we’re listening to a B-Side, it is of a good quality!

    To be played during your siesta in the afternoon. Or if you still have sun (or discovering summer hahaha), during your Instagram’s moments :D

Weeeeeell… badass sound my frieeeeeeends !!! Outkast is outstanding and so would be this track! Come on, I’m waiting for you… I’ve already put my cowboy outfit on!! Yeehaaa!
