THIS IS A RISKY AFFAIR, but river’s not interested if he’s not at least a little challenged. if his management knew he was here ( hell, if they even knew he was dating ) they’d be quick to threaten to throw him out of his band. always popularity first. river will be the first to admit that he, too, has gone a long way for that. he’s not proud of the persona he’s created for the general public, that of a man who breaks hearts and laughs about it, but somehow it is what sells. with kirby, everything is different. he feels less fabricated. he feels human.
