But first, some informations:

1. You can sign up until December 7th, after that I'll close the form.

2. I'll send out your matches on December 8th.

3. You have time to create your gift until the 24th December. At 6:00 pm (CET) we will all reveal our gifts.

Welcome to the Off-Season Winter Sports Fandom Challenge!

There is a long drought ahead of us, so to shorten and sweeten the endless period between now and next winter, the fandom challenge has our backs.

Running for its second year, in the new and improved OSWS Fandom Challenge, for every other week of the off-season, between March 27th and October 29th, there will be one prompt posted. You can participate by creating anything for any winter sports you like: fanart of any kind, drawings, picture edits, video edits, playlists, drabbles, ficlets, one-shots, even multi-chapters!

You can use any or all prompts posted - there are no expectations to fill all of them. Please tag all entries with #OSWS fandom challenge and/or tag this blog so everyone can easily get their summer-y winter sports fix.

Double podium finish for Canada in women's ski cross

These two medals bring Canada’s total so far the Games to 26, which ties our record haul from the 2010 Games.

An incredible finish in women’s ski cross on Day 14 of the Winter Olympics. Canadians Kelsey Serwa, of Kelowna, and Brittany Phelan won the gold and silver medal, respectively, in women’s ski cross.

The win gives Team Canada its second straight double podium in the event at the Games.
