Get Ready for the RSC Ski Swap - Sunday, November 7

The air is cooling off, the snow line is dropping quickly, and people are starting to think about the first turns of the year. What does this mean? It's time for the Revelstoke Ski Swap! On Sunday, November 7, feel the buzz in the air as people search out great deals.

This annual event brings out hoards of skiers and snowboarders looking to sell of old gear or buy new (to you) items. This fundraiser garners much-needed moolah for the Revelstoke Ski Club, and is a great way to make room for new gear in your basement.

The Ski Swap takes place at the Revelstoke Community Centre. Between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm, drop off old skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, poles, clothing, touring gear, equipment and accessories on consignment. You name the price, and the Revelstoke Ski Club takes care of managing your sales. Come back between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to pick up your cash.

At 1:00 pm, the doors open for buyers and it's a madhouse! Make sure to line up early, because the crowd grows quickly. You've got until 4:00 pm to make your purchases. Make a plan, bring your friends, and come score some sweet deals! You've seen the gear closets people have in this town - there are a lot of great scores. You might find the touring set-up you've been looking for, the perfect set of neon-green beater poles, a cheap pair of Volkl Explosivs, or a Skate Banana in just your size.
