So I know I haven't been on here much lately (well, I have but I've been incognito) but I thought I'd make a post about our big move. Today was a big day, we accepted an offer on our house today, I sold my business today, and tomorrow I'm meeting a guy that's buying my truck. It's a big week. Thursday we load the U-Haul and leave Oklahoma city forever. We're very excited to make the trip to Kalispell. The boys are excited for the move and a little sad to be leaving their friends. I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but I'm starting an Instagram that will document our move and our lives after the move. If anyone would like to see what we're up to go ahead and follow big_sky_adventure on Instagram. I'm going to start posting on Thursday.

We've been so busy since we moved, moving into the rent house, getting the boys in school and the wife started her new job this week. We are finally taking this weekend and having some fun! We took the boys to whitefish ski resort (aka big mountain). What a view from the top! The flathead valley is a truly beautiful place! This part of the northern Rockies stays pretty cloudy and foggy in the winter but every once in a while, we get to see all the beauty here.

Ski Whitefish! Opening Weekend

Opening weekend at Whitefish Mountain Resort( Big Mountain legends)! I love my home mountain and the memories I have, growing up in the Flathead Valley. Those of us who hunt the valley, and all of Montana, are coming down from our hunting-buzz and our respite is cappuccino smooth pow lines. Every inch of this mountain is amazingly fun, and once done skiing you can hit an array of fun bars in downtown Whitefish.

Puke in the back alleys with the legendary locals, listen to live music in the Northern, play pool in the Palace, and show off your pipes in the Remington, plus, for all those lookyloos, there is always the Bulldog bathroom walls to straighten your eyesight. Beers, games, and three stories of classy elegance at the renovated Casye's--I love home!

Winter gets me jacked, and not being there year after year is actually quite awesome because when I come back, I appreciate every inch of my valley home. Plus, surfing is a good respite for that pow day itch. Ahoo, ski season!
