Skiks is great at tracking. Except when something doesn’t leave anything to track. This style has really got my creative juices flowing. I’ll not be sticking with the stylised silhouette when it comes to the actual comic, but it’s helping me explore shading in new ways.That 3-tone Copic look is really appealing to me.
Colour test for Ral (and Skiks). Ral is an inventor who travels with Vicent under the pretense of maintaining his prosthesis, but really just wanted to leave the workshop life behind. She is not an out-and-out pacifist like many Aratan, but she refuses to kill. As a result, the weapon she uses is a non-lethal blaster that channels Kinetic Temper (force magic?), either in wide cones or concentrated bolts. She’d rather knock them down or out, instead of knocking them off.
