Muscle Mending Massage Bar!
I took a tumble down the stairs over the weekend so this is low-key perfect timing. lol.
Anyway, not only are these easy to make they can make a great gift for the holidays if you find yourself stumped on what to buy your friends and family
Tools You’ll Need
Medium size saucepan
Measuring cup
Silicone or Wooden Spoon
two Massage Bar Mold
Ingredients
8 oz. Beeswax (or Carnauba Wax if you’re vegan)
8 oz. Cocoa Butter
4 oz. Shea Butter
2 oz. Avocado Oil
1.25 oz. Jojoba Oil
2.8 oz. Muscle Mending Organic Essential Oil Blend (You can find it a Sprouts and possibly Whole Foods)
The reason I said you’ll need two molds is because I made too much and didn’t have an extra mold to put it in (whomp) but they still came out great. Also I didn’t feel like blending a bunch of essential oils myself thats why I opted for the Muscle Mending blend. It’s a blend of Eucalyptus, Lavender, Orange, Tea Tree, Wintergreen, Everlasting Corsica, and Cornmint. It will help soothe aches and discomfort, supplies a cooling sensation to muscles, and will help you relax after a long day. Use it on your back, shoulders, achy joints, injuries, or wherever you feel discomfort.
Instructions
Melt the beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, and avocado oil in double boiler and melt it (stir mixture to help it melt faster)
Add jojoba oil and essential oil blend (stir again to mix evenly)
Pour into molds and let the bars cool until they are solid (I placed mine in the refrigerator)
Put them out and store in a dry, cool place, and use whenever you like!
