30% aha mask (if you're talking about the red one) is hardcore, i use it once every two weeks, leave it for 5min and it feels like i get a new, fresh skin, but you gotta put oil on your face after it cuz it gets dry if you leave it without anything, i'm using their marula oil, it's super nice and non sticky. Niancinamide is also pretty good for shrinking pores if that's what you need. I discovered ordinary a year ago and my face has changed completely
so idk how acne would react to 30% aha mask, they could get irritated. it's good for congested, oily skin, but if your skin is sensitive and you haven't used any acids before, maybe try something lighter first, i think they have a 10% salycilic acid which is pretty similar

I really like their red aha bha peel for when my skin gets flaky. I have oily skin but for some reason there have been times when it decides to freak out and flake.
i think my skin can handle the AHA cause i use acids every day... maybe i’ll just keep it on a shorter time... wanna check out niancinamide

Lavender is your friend! It's calming and it helps balance oil production. Stay away from tea tree unless you have very oily skin. Rosehip oil is AMAZING for your skin! Use a gentle scrub a couple times a week and clay masks are a great way to pull any gunk to the surface. And obv change your sheets regularly, drink water, etc
thanks! haven’t tried lavender and i’m excited for rosehip oil... wish i had the info about tea tree a few months ago :P :P

Okay I totally just ordered like 4 different products from them. Thanks for the recommendation!!!
i hope it works out well for both of us!! i’m waiting for potential black friday deals but my wishlist is ready :D :D
I think I’ve discussed my neverending quest for good moisturizers a few times and I’ve been having really good luck with Indeed Labs (10Balm for the daytime, Hydration Booster + Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion at night). They’re usual prices are a bit higher than drugstore stuff but they’re doing half off right now so it’s downright CHEAP if anyone else is fighting winter scaly skin.
Random Beauty Rec (because I spend too much money on fancy skincare stuff!): Hylamide Pore Control. After being disappointed by countless Biore strips I found a thing that actually makes a difference! Bonus, it isn't even *that* expensive.
guys does anyone have CHEAP skincare recs i can find like at the store (walmart, cvs, walgreens, meijer, kroger, fuck it i'll take jungle jim's) especially for acne i am DESPERATE and make $12/hr 🙏🙏🙏 T_T
i was using a free sample from prose for a while but i ran out and can not afford the full thing
pictures of my face below the cut for reference
I realized, I’m super attracted to skincare products with pomegranate in them.
Like, it’s not exactly my skin type, but it has pomegranate stuff in it and I trust pomegranates more than I trust olives, so this is what we’re getting.
