How I keep my skin looking clear: (my routine may not work for everybody but these are just some of the products that have been working for me).
whenever I wake up, I just wash my face with a daily scrub (make sure you can use it daily though, not all scrubs are for daily purposes), or I use an aveeno ultra calming foam wash if my skin looks a little red.
then MOISTURIZE! very important. I use neutrogena's sensitive skin moisturizer, it's about $10, or equate's naturally beaming moisturizer (spf 15) and comparable to aveeno's positively radiant moisturizer.
then I use a face primer before applying any kind of makeup, I use PRIMETIME from bare escentuals.
then for foundation! I just jumped on the bare minerals band wagon and I'm loving it. try it.
at night; I use st. ives green tea scrub or the apricot scrub, I like using scrubs, I feel like it gets rid of all that dirt, and it does a great job. St. Ives is a really good brand and it smells good. Then a makeup remover for any eye makeup is also a necessity. And again, moisturize! I use the same moisturizers everyday.
then finally, I use a blemish treatment from elf cosmetics. It's $8 on their website, and it comes with a little concealer brush. I just use it to heal any existing or stubborn acne marks. It's pretty good. And then I also bought their $1 zit zapper...which is not too bad either.
I do all of these steps daily and my skin looks healthy and bright and clear. No complaints. I'm also a big water drinker. So, that's a plus, since I'm not so much of a healthy eater.
