it wasn't often that taylor ran into lone survivors. most people at this point either had a group or had just one other person, it was very rarely a SOLO SURVIVOR. it made her hesitant when she saw him, unsure if he was just a solo member of another group - a trap even. he hasn’t seen her yet, and she uses that to her advantage. her gun raises, pointed straight at him before she even speaks. “are you alone? and don’t lie to me, or i WILL shoot you.” but of course she wouldn't know if he as lying. she’s just trying to sound threatening.
