"Well, to be honest, Skip," says Thursday quietly, closing the book she was reading to them. "The end of the world isn't that far away for me. I have 18 days left to live. That's the most I can give anyone, and I have a lot of things I need to do before that time comes, so I can't give you all of it. I will, however, stay with you as long as I can. If you stay here with me, I'll stay here with you. Thank you for keeping me company too."
