The Impeyan Cabal in it's fledgling state picks up and absorbs small splinters of broken Cabals and Companies under Nettle as Patron, becomes a successful institution after Nettle dies.
Rupe stays with Impeyan post-bloodbarge and pre-revenge inclinations towards his home Cabal.
Rupe is highly susceptible to Nettle's toxins and influence due to their close bloodline. Initially he is unaware. Later, it's his nanoskin mantle which eventually protects him from this.
Impeyan later becomes the Cabal to hold one of the largest populations of those with throwback-genes, particularly those who's effects on phage are mind and body altering.
