And he helped her get Jonathan a new camera
Buying someone a camera after you broke it and tore up their photos hardly constitutes as a legitimate reason to get back with someone. It also doesn’t erase the abuse and bullying that previously happened.
Especially after the shit that he said to Jonathan about his mother and brother, calling everyone in the family fuck ups.
Buying the camera and apologizing to Nancy for his behavior (followed by trying to attack Jonathan again...) doesn’t show that he’s non-abusive. You don’t go from being abusive to non-abusive in a span of a month or less. He’s controlling, and for I all know the apology could have even been in a manipulative sense. It didn’t feel all that sincere to me as someone who has been in an abusive relationship. They did the women in the show dirty. Most of the main women characters got screwed over the most in the show.

Second the above comment about Barb... She dead... Also, I definitely don't classify Steve as abusive. He showed a lot of very surprising character growth
Ok... let’s break this down... he slut-shames her publically. He’s also a bully who destroyed Jonathan’s camera. He also hangs out with people who are assholes. I don’t think anything that he did later on in the season justified getting back with him after what he did.

I would have to agree that if you have a public blog, it is a public domain, other people can choose to follow you if they want to, regardless of whether or not you like it. I would not qualify the actions of grindersopinionblog as harrasment.
So if I'm walking around in public and a person decides to follow me around and continues saying harassing things to me while I'm in public it's not harassment or stalking?
Wow... I guess my Criminal Law book was really wrong then.
harassment (either harris-meant or huh-rass-meant) n. the act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group, including threats and demands. The purposes may vary, including racial prejudice, personal malice, an attempt to force someone to quit a job or grant sexual favors, apply illegal pressure to collect a bill, or merely gain sadistic pleasure from making someone fearful or anxious. Such activities may be the basis for a lawsuit if due to discrimination based on race or sex, a violation on the statutory limitations on collection agencies, involve revenge by an ex-spouse, or be shown to be a form of blackmail ("I'll stop bothering you, if you'll go to bed with me"). The victim may file a petition for a "stay away" (restraining) order, intended to prevent contact by the offensive party. A systematic pattern of harassment by an employee against another worker may subject the employer to a lawsuit for failure to protect the worker.
Cyberharassment. Cyberharassment differs from cyberstalking in that it may generally be defined as not involving a credible threat. Cyberharassment usually pertains to threatening or harassing email messages, instant messages, or to blog entries or websites dedicated solely to tormenting an individual. Some states approach cyberharrassment by including language addressing electronic communications in general harassment statutes, while others have created stand-alone cyberharassment statutes.

It is actually against the US Federal Law to cyber harass.
This is not the first time that they have said something offensive toward me or replied to something I posted in an offensive manner. I have however asked him to stop following me twice. He has decided to say "no". While he has a right to object, the moment that he does it is considered harassment due to the unwanted nature of his actions.
I'm actually in a humor in communication class right now (the subject is mostly about the ways in which comedians can perform marginality), and we've been talking about rape jokes a lot as well. I'm curious as to what you would think about Wanda Syke's detachable pussy bit (It can be found on YouTube). She does make a rape joke at the end (A gang-rape joke, nonetheless); is this one okay to laugh at? I have my own views, but I'm curious about your take on it!
That one is ok because the joke is on the rapists, not the rape victim. The one Wanda Sykes make isn't saying that rape is funny but more "haha, you want to rape me? Well my pussy is at home. Bye." rather than saying that it's ok to rape. It's one thing to make light of your own experience to help you deal with the trauma, it's also one thing to make a joke about rapists, it's another thing entirely when you joke about consent and say that yes and no is the same thing. It's another thing entirely to make fun of the act of rape itself or to victim blame.

1- Least favorite film adaptation of a book? Sometimes I just don't watch film adaptations if I know they're completely different than the books, so this is a difficult-ish question! I'm going to have to say the 5th and 3rd Harry Potter movies because I feel like those were the most mauled with the least amount of payoff for it (I didn't like 6 as an adaptation either, but at least it was funny).
2- Favorite play? My favorite I've seen would have to be Love is Contagious because it is hilarious! As far as reading, my favorites are The Importance of Being Earnest and The Merchant of Venice.
3- Do you like Russell Brand? Why/Why Not? I suppose I find him amusing, but I wouldn't say I have a really strong opinion on him.
4- Favorite quotation? "It's hard as hell to hold on to your dignity when the risen sun is too bright in your losing eyes." - John Green, TFiOS (the origin of my url) ALSO "What a treacherous thing to believe that a person is more than a person." - John Green, Paper Towns
5- Song you most identify with? "Far Far" by Yael Naïm and "Screening Process" by Lauren Fairweather.
6- If you could have any animal as a pet, what would you choose? CATS. Also, an owl.
7- Favorite TV show character? Why? I narrowed it down to two... The 10th Doctor because he has the perfect blend of silliness and seriousness. Also, DAVID TENNANT. The second is Stiles Stilinski because he is just such a fantastic person and I love him and yeah...
8- Do you know the way to Sante Fe? I know that it is southwest of Michigan, but that's about it.
9- Tell me something you’re proud of: My girls at my ballet studio from home. They are my babies and I love them so much! I feel like they are all my children or younger sisters, and I brag about them all the time. They are just all such lovely, talented young ladies. :')
10- If you could do anything with your life, what would you do? Travel! Particularly in Western Europe and throughout the U.K., but also big U.S. cities I haven't been to. I would also like to do my dream job: editing YA/children's novels. And if I had all of the luck/talent in the world, I would love to be a choreographer and/or professional ballet dancer.
11- If you could steal any first edition, what would you steal? Why? I guess Pride and Prejudice, since that is one my favorite classics.
GOOD LUCK!
