doesn't it bother anyone else the fact that the Skithra queen and the Racnoss queen look so alike and the doctor just. doesn't notice?
i mean i can understand that they had all this shapeshifting scorpion thing going on but they could've just let 13 make a pun just to make her acknowledge the similarities in-universe. or make her ask "do you have anything to do with the racnoss?" and maybe just let the queen say "oh no, those guys have been extinct for ages", kind of what they did from the Slitheen and the guy from Clom.
also they ended up in the same way, wanting to destroy earth, testing the doc's patience and then dying with all their species. not cool guys, everything else about this episode was great but this seems either lazy or due to lack of time (but they had a whole year to make this new season so i don't think so)
I gave you your chance... A chance to evolve. But you were too stupid to take it. When you die, there'll be nothing left behind. Just a trail of blood and other people's brilliance. No-one will even know you existed.
Idk why but the Skithra reminded me of the Racnoss.
Skithra Queen: You're trying to kidnap what I've rightfully stolen!
I feel the moment when the Doctor and the Skithra Queen started mutually predator-circling each other is getting waaaay overlooked.
