yeah I'm... relieved really lmao I wanted to quit but felt that seemed unwise given the fact that I just quit another job two weeks before. so she's solved that problem for me. I'm just like holy shit I have asked to do a couple of things differently and waited for her approval before doing it, not just deciding to do whatever I wanted in her shop. so I'm mostly just shocked that her response was so immediately extreme

RIGHT.  my grandparents immigrated in the 50s and built their lives from the ground up etc all that and like yeah they had it rough but “my parents didn’t flee and they survived” is no fucking reason to deny asylum to refugees like what the FUCK.  I’m honestly so pissed off I had to leave when she came into the same room I was in.

last week when I checked election results at work one coworker asked what was happening so far and I was like “nova scotia went all liberal” and she’s like “what are they, stupid??” and it spawned a hellish conversation which devolved into “if people want to come here they should adapt to our customs because being canadian is a privilege not a right. if I went to afghanistan I would have to wear a burka so they should take it off when they come here because extremism”

I definitely advise sticking to your “keep away until they’re gone’ strategy tbh

this is gr8 I am all about shipping all the things for real I totes appreciate steve/bucky like a lot!!!! but I just have ~the feels~ for steve/tony u know how it is. I do consider myself a multishipper in general tho I’m honestly really down for anything there are very few ships I actively dislike in all fandoms
