I’m disappointed.”

The lash of an angry tongue didn’t hurt ; Tate understood the appeal in covering sadness with rage more than anyone else . After all , that’s what lead him to Limbo , after all . But , even then , her question was ignored . He stepped forward , not too close , but close enough .  “ My mother could probably be used as a prime example for bad parenting ,”  he continued on .  “ And as much as I hate her for it , I think I’m more angry at my father for leaving me there with her . He had to have known what kind of person she was --- Abusive and controlling . But he was so selfish that he left me alone with a woman like that when I was four .”

Or so said Constance . Tate had a feeling deep within his guts that she had lied about some of the details that revolve around Hugo Langdon’s disappearance , but what else did he have to go on ?? 

The haunt finally , slowly and with caution , stepped beside Prudence and lowered himself to sit beside her . A deep , and unneeded , breath was taken in and sighed back out through his nose .  “ Do you want to hold my hand ??”  Tate offered out towards her .  “ You can squeeze it as hard as you want . It doesn’t matter , I’m dead .”

slight    curiousness    animates           constance’s    form    as    a    long    finger    curls.               twitches    at    her    side.                &         perhaps    she    should   not   be    toying    so    with    a        blackwood.                a    weird    sister..                  though    the    temptation    was    too    great    in    the   end.            unfazed    save    for    a    slowly    manifesting    guilt    that    could    almost    be    mistaken   as    adrenaline.              for    she’d    simply    stumbled    upon    prudence    stuck   amidst    a    breakable    spell      !         this    was    not   her    doing..                  though    she    wished    only    to    be   amongst    them    as    a    friend.              eyes    flicker.                 lips    purse.                    “not    bonkers...”                     she    speaks    almost    distantly..             “i    wish    to    associate    more   regularly    with    you.”

CONVINCING HER SISTER TO CHANGE HER MIND WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE. it always was, eleven out of ten times she was the one who ended up going along with whatever zelda had decided. she wasn't brave enough to stand up to her, but (after so many years) she was trying to.        ❛     how can you be so sure?    ❜

            ❛     dear... you realize you could face expulsion from the academy, excommunication ---or worse…   ❜ she was one to talk… after all, she had been excommunicated for breaking church law all those years ago. but how could she allow this to happen to her sister, to her family, now that they were all ( except her ) on good terms with the church?
