animal death, grief

for people who have been following me for a long time, i have some sad news. my very first cat, Biscuit, had to be put down the other day. she got sick fast and when i took her to the vet they found 2 tumors that were killing her.

to say im heartbroken would be an understatement. biscuit got me through so many hard times. it's safe to say i wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her.

Malte and Minty are still physically healthy, and I'm trying to focus on living for them while i grieve.

I take comfort in knowing that your last summer was filled with cuddles, tasty treats, as much swimming as you could possibly want, dog friends and almost limitless freedom. We loved you, and despite your short stay with us, your departure has left a void. We will miss you dearly. Say hello to Milla for me. Tell her she’s missed. Just as you will be.
