Hmmm Zortch sometimes has trouble sleeping because they get these flashes of worry that they’ll be slugged or taken away in their sleep and Norman sits up with them, freeze grenade in hand, when they do (and by sits up with them I mean he falls asleep a few minutes after they do but he stays the whole time)

Fairy honestly does enjoy using their magic to calm others down. They cannot make anyone feel truly happy of course but whenever someone is freaking out or upset its nice to be able to help them relax and tackle things with a more level head and heart. Being able to share that warmth and love in a more prominent manner is something that Fairy never takes for granted and likes to use often with the ones they love.

But if we’re being honest

Turning into a big ass jellybean dragon is pretty fucking sweet too.

I think Norman and Zortch should hit on each other and never once think to research the others’ culture’s courting methods so they have no fucking clue the other likes them back <3

Also I now ship Skipper and Zortch. I have no reasoning for this I just think it’s nice

Name: Nynder Nayn

Description: One of the Skortch, Entities that were punished and exile by an order of creatures tasked with preserving virtues. Nynder was one of the highest in the order before his curiosity about life and living earned him the scorn and disdain of his brethren.

Trivia: 

Nynder does not necessarily begrudge his brethren for shunning him because he now enjoys much more freedom.

He misses his family though. 

Pretty oblivious to mortal life but curious to learn more.

While immortal his body does require some sort of sustenance and rest. He doesnt realize this and just assumed the aching and pain were part of this existence.

Because his current form is meant to be a shameful appearance he is honestly surprised by any positive reaction or affection. 

Very quiet and a bit shy. Usually is found just chillin on his own somewhere random thinking about stuff.

Wanders around as he does not have a home.

Travels in the company of some other Skortch but they sometimes part ways to do their own things.

Nynder doesnt know what to do with all the love but they are still very grateful for all of you liking them!

The top fellow is one I’ll make a proper post for soon but Nynder Nayn is one of the Skortch which are a fallen angel type race in the Merriway. Nynder should not be conflated with a common demon though, despite the appearance Nynder is actually a very quiet, shy, and curious bab.

Name: Nether Ether

Description: A Skortch who served under Nynder Nayn before they were Exiled. Nether somewhat resents the order for banishing him. Nether is trying to find new meaning to his new existence.

Trivia:

While Nether respects Nynder he also harbors some anger towards his former superior. Mainly because he thinks Nynder has it easier in this new life because Nynder was always made to lead. However as a soldier Nether does not know what to do with his free will.

He seeks out positions similar to what he used to do. He does not mind serving a superior as long as they are competent and respectful.

Nether has dispatched some people who he tried to work for but found wretched as a whole.

Despite his willingness to get his hands bloody he is actually not a brutal soul and does not consider himself as one. Rather he claims to value loyalty above most things.

Like Nynder, Nether is not used to many of the things around him now and so often just stands around instead of engaging with anything. He has learned about coffee though and finds the strange sensation oddly nice? Hes not sure what nice is supposed to be but he keeps drinking it.
