i just really love the symbolism of rue causing chaos and disrupting the peace of everyone she runs across in this episode, whether it be breaking the glass table at that pool party or exposing cassie in front of everyone—it’s a literal physical embodiment and demonstration of how addiction causes your world to fall apart around you, not only yours but the people closest to you as well. i think it was executed very well.
