I have lots to share about last week but one thing in particular is how excited I am about some of the appliances I had already ordered months ago for my own kitchen makeover (that hasn’t started yet). I got to see “my fridge” in action at the Signature Kitchen Suites’ Experience and Design Center. (And no, they didn’t give me one, I paid for it!) This one is 36” wide, with a convertible drawer over the freezer drawer. Preset temps let you quickly select the perfect temperature to make it a wine, freezer, or charcuterie drawer, among other things, or set it to whatever you want. Having that extra space that I can change depending on my needs at the moment is pretty cool. The lighting inside the fridge is terrific, and illuminates each movable shelf, not just a light strip running down the inside. The flush cabinetry panels also make it disappear, and for those of you who would flank it with countertops, the top of the two drawers line up perfectly with the countertop for a clean sight line. What else? This same look is coming out soon in a 48” french door! Not a side by side, but a 48” wide refrigerator over 4 doors below. It’s so cool!
