Bucky/Daisy + "Rescue Me"
Bucky’s in a tight spot. Hydra has found him, and they want their Winter Soldier back. He has been running, but now he’s out of time.
While he’s in captivity, moments away from becoming the cold assassin feared by many, the base he’s at is hit by an earthquake. Everything starts to come tumbling down, and it looks like the end of the line for Bucky Barnes.
Until a young woman finds him and saves his life.
Bucky and Daisy: "So how long until your Inhuman friends stop looking at me like I'm tainting you?"
“Ignore them,” Daisy muttered, shooting a glare at two men who were staring at Bucky. “Lincoln, Joey, can you go check in with Mack and see how the search for Hive is going?”
The two other Inhumans looked at each other before reluctantly leaving the kitchen. The blonde one gave Bucky a lingering glare as he departed.
“They seem friendly,” he muttered as Daisy slid a mug over to him.
“All the stuff that’s been said about you has just shaken them a bit,” Daisy shrugged. “Once they get to know you and who you really are, they’ll warm up to you.”
Prompt-a-thon
Bucky/Skye, but between Bucky and Steve without Skye present, "Wait... You and Skye having a baby?"
(*grins*)
He nodded. “We are. Nothing was planned, but we’re still excited.”
“Congratulations, Buck,” Steve grinned. “You two must be happy.”
Bucky felt himself smile. When he thought about it, he was happy. It had taken so long, but he finally felt happy. His best friend was back, he had Skye, and he had her team. Together, he and Skye were going to have a baby. So yeah, he was happy.
“If it’s a boy, we might name him after you,” Bucky half-teased, making Steve redden and shake his head.
Bucky/Skye: "Of course I want to see Steve again... But I'm not the same person I was back then. And it's going to hurt like hell when he realized that... For both of us."
Skye opened her mouth before closing it again.
“C’mon Skye, it’s the same way with your team too,” Bucky said. “You know it.”
“I do,” she nodded. “I’m not the same person I was when I left them. I’m not even the same person I was a year ago. But they were the first family I ever really had, the first people who accepted me and took me in and didn’t kick me to the curb when they had the chance. I feel that I owe them a chance to see if they can accept me again. Maybe that’s the same way with you and Steve.”
“So you’re saying I should give Steve a chance to see me as me.”
“After what you told me happened between you two, I think he knows that you’re different,” Skye murmured, absentmindedly twirling a strand of her hair. “We should at least try to go back to them and give them a chance to get to know who we are now.”
Skucky for the ship thing
Yay! For my followers who have no idea what that means, it’s Bucky and Skye from the MCU. I adore them fair too much.
Drinks all of the coffee: Skye. She needs her caffeine and it wouldn’t affect Bucky anyway since he went through the Super Soldier program.
Brings up adopting a pet: Skye. She had always wanted one growing up, but being shuffled from house to house with the orphanage in between never allowed the opportunity. Bucky never really thought about it because his family -and most of those he lived around- had never had enough money to even fathom having a pet. There were a few stray cats in his area that he had had a soft spot for, so when Skye brought up getting a pet, he asked if they could get a cat.
Kills the bugs: Either. If they see it, they kill it.
Cooks the meals: They do it together, but Skye knows a lot more about it since she had to be self-sufficient growing up, especially after she aged out of the system. Bucky’s cooking skills amount to little more than boiling and military food.
Starts getting into holidays way before they should: Skye. She’s making up for lost time since she felt so left out when she was younger.
Initiates the couple selfies: Neither. They’re pretty quiet about their relationship.
Forgets the birthdays and anniversaries: Bucky. He spends so much time trying to remember everything Hydra took away from him, he tends to forget birthdays. Skye understands and as more comes to him, he gets better at remembering new information.
Always ends up with too much junk food after grocery shopping: Skye. She has a sweet tooth.
Nicknames the other: Neither of them, outside of the standard pet names.

“Point taken, “ Bucky chuckled, kissing quickly. “Don’t worry about me. I’ll make it back, and in one piece.”
Skye smiled at her boyfriend and kissed him back.
“Aw, come on,” Hunter whined in the background. “Can’t you two teenagers just wait like normal people and not make out everyplace.”
“Like you’re one to talk,” Skye shot back, kissing Bucky again.

Bucky stared at her in bewilderment before sinking down onto the dusty sofa. Skye was biting her lip, her arms crossed across her chest.
“I don’t know what to do now,” she sighed, sitting down on the other side of the sofa. “I can’t keep running from Hydra and our problems, not like this.”
“We can’t,” Bucky agreed, scooting a little closer to her. “And I’m tired of running. Maybe this is what we need to tell us to stop running and face them.”
