It's funnyhow two can be an over-abundance of cocker spaniels, at least when they both want to rest their heads on y9ur personal skull.

Insomnia Photos: A Boy and his Fetch&Tug Buddy
Tristan has allergies--we tried Cytopoint to see if it reduced his excesses of eye goop; it didn't, but it reduced his excesses of digestive upset. Generally this doesn't include itchy skin, but he's been uncomfortable in some lumps and bumps (two lipomas, two enclosed cysts) so he went to have them all scooped out today. Now he's back in a super-puppy surgical suit and a smidge confused about what just happened.
He's on my pillow snoring sweetly and exhaustedly into my neck. He smells of that ubiquitous extra-sweet cleanser or deodorizer used everywhere to combat ammonia and other such stink. In fact, I think I am having flashbacks to elementary school, some parts of the school seemed to permanently smell of this stuff. Worth it for the skull snuggles from the baby boy 💞
Insomnia Photos: sharing my shoulder
An extremely sweet Tristan, out cold and totally limp. Except... he's attempting to cuddle himself all the way into my skull. Pushing the side of my head so hard, he was shoving me right off the pillow 🤣 so I had to lean back into him to keep from sliding off. Look at his mohawk flopped over my face even, oh puppy sweet.
Skull Snuggles time, with a soft Tristan floppily snoring into my ear. He's so alert when he's "helping," but so very relaxed when he retires for the night.
~Insistent Shoulder Spaniel~
Tristan got his 3-yr boosters yesterday and felt quite puny at bedtime. He required my shoulder for his chin and forefeet, and my cheek to press his face into. It's not usual for him to need me when he feels under weather. I was very flattered. He's perky and bright again today; perhaps he'll need me for extra snuggles again at his next set of 3-yr boosters, when he's 10.
