~It's Back~

Photos recovered from a mysteriously (?) abandoned camera found in the burgundy swamps of Florida.

~Adventures in Clipping~

Carefully part the hair at the skunk streak, trying to separate it from the black floof. Barette that streak down. Take the clippers to all the black fuzz between the skunk streak and the ears, get the muzzle too, avoiding the whiskers. Clip the cheek and then the entire underside of the ear, in order to reduce the massive volume of earfloof. Repeat on the other side.

Take out the barettes. Go have a nice squirmy roll in the grass, to brush off some of the loose hair.

Get a good look at the new skunk-hawk. Are Tristan's eyes visible now? It appears they are!

I brushed Tristan's hair back. Then I said, "you wanna pose for pictures?" and both Spaniels stepped onto the kitchen mat and laid down. In that 5 seconds Tristan lost his eyeballs again... definitely time to trim the skunk-hawk.

When Tristan's head is clipped, you can see an adorable wrinkle in his skunk streak when he perks his ears.

It's an absolute tradegy that we have to choose between perky streak wrankle and goth punk skunk-hawk. The universe cannot be forgiven for making this an either-or situation.
