okay yeah i can't justify buying a hoodie even IF its on sale, as far as I can tell the sale is only on the UK shop, and the US shop isn't. so even if its cheaper initially with tax, the SHIPPING makes it just not worth it... nothing from the sale for me ig :(

but it did remind me about that I have enough money saved up for enamel pins. :) still with shipping it's a LOT so i'll think about it...

Also I looked online for second hand pins for hozier and there aren't many online in the first place, so i had zero luck finding the pin i want separate from the pin set. (it's the self portrait one...)

The only pins on sale are tour pins and even if one is on my birthday idk i feel weird having a pin from a tour i never went to. MAYBE if i found it randomly at a second hand store it'd feel like fate.... but not from the online store. feels different.

I'm going crazy. Okay so like is there a term for when the ground/floor you're standing on has a lower section. Kinda like where people put those couches for conversation pits but maybe not as deep? it's not a new floor- that'd imply a higher degree of separation or some walls between in, but its like an indent into the ground. Maybe a step or two down into the area. I don't know if im even describing this correctly which is my main problem cause this is for a writing project.

All I get on google is types of subflooring which isn't what im looking for- I'm looking for an architectural design element. I thought it was called an inlay but its not.

as much as I love the Krimson Rogue TAOS review, I will say that I'm surprised (and a bit disappointed but not also not seriously) that he hates avia. maybe it's cause i like avia, and other people on this website have made posts about why they like her tha articulate why better. that's all i really have to say about it. it's a good review, im still watching it.

at this point im so lost about the recent chappell roan situation that im just going to ignore it until i see like, security footage from the incident. ive seen way too many smear campaigns against her to believe anything against her without criticism, but also i dont super love how she filmed her response video (like come on girl just film it at a desk, dont lay down covered in a duvet). Also ive seen people say the daughter is jude law's but also a child of a soccer player from south america (ive seen multiple counties listed which is strange). the video i found about her response says both children have had negative interactions with her. Ive seen so much stuff about the security team and whether they were hotel management or personal staff. and she can't thank her security team after concerts anymore without it getting clipped and taken out of context. people are too busy farming views on shorts, reels, and tiktok and trying to get their five seconds of fame talking about "their side' as if they were even THERE or what they know 'as a security guard' or whatever, so now tabloid news is actually more trustworthy (how did we get to this point that's so sad) and im so fucking tired of this.

does anyone who uses/posts on substack want to lend some advice to someone considering posting there? Theoretically, it sounds like a fun way to get creative and maybe earn a bit of money, but I cant get a firm grasp of the website? partly because im at work, but looking online ive seen stuff like "it posts newletters" to essays, literature, articles, but also videos and its like any other social media? I saw a controversy about aupporting nazis, but also that its very left leaning? Im lost and would like some advice, thanks
