i forgot to blog abt the rest of the episode bc i was truly speechless.
idc what anyone says, it was a solid finale and a good send-off to the boys.
yes, marie moreau was sidelined, yes i didn't like the way ashley was just kicked out, yes i wish it had a gloomier ending, but i think it fits the rest of the series perfectly. idc.
in conclusion: what a good episode!!! it felt very full and well-put together!! love the deep/black noir bits (glad that adam finally died too lmfao i HATED him), loved homelander's ass on display in two seperate scenes, loved seeing soldier boy fully acknowledge that homelander's his son, loved the ashley/sage scene (tho bashley still scares the shit outta me), oh father's character was fun in this ep, and don't even get me started on mr. marathon </3
and the butcher/hughie scenes...they're so cute idc they need to kiss YESTERDAY. also so glad firecracker got what was coming to her. i'll miss her bc she was a fun character, but she v much had it coming.
next week's ep cannot come soon enough
